Meet the MHP Therapy Team
Dr. Evan Georgievski
Dr. Evan Georgievski graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a Bachelor of Science, Kinesiology Honours degree. He then continued at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College where he graduated as a Doctor of Chiropractic. He is full body certified in Active Release Technique ®; certified in Contemporary Medical Acupuncture (McMaster University), Integrated Therapeutics ®, and Module 1 Graston Technique ®.
Dr. Georgievski has always been a sports enthusiast participating in many sports both at the recreational and competitive level. He currently works as the Team Chiropractor for Western University’s Cross Country and Track & Field Teams. Formerly having worked with the University of Toronto Track & Field Team.
Juliana Bergin is a registered physiotherapist with a passion for sport and performance. She graduated from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Physical Health and Education with Honours. She then went on to complete her MSc Physiotherapy at Oxford Brookes University in England. Juliana is a certified K-taping Therapist and Nordic Pole Walking Instructor.
While studying at the University of Toronto, she competed in the pentathlon for the varsity track and field team. She also played varsity soccer at both the University of Toronto and at Oxford Brookes University.
Juliana currently works with Western University’s Cross Country and Track and Field teams. She also works with the Hill Academy’s lacrosse team, travelling with them to various games and tournaments.
Dr. Devon Dodge
Dr. Devon Dodge graduated from Western University with a Kinesiology Honors degree and further continued her education with a four-year Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College.
During her time at CMCC, Dr. Dodge gained experience treating a diverse group of patients including at-risk populations, the elderly, students, office workers and athletes. She is committed to keeping her knowledge and skills up to date and has completed continuing education courses including a certificate in Functional Integrated Acupuncture from CMCC. She also specializes in prenatal care and is certified with the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association in Webster technique.
Dr. Dodge has always had a passion for active living, and has been involved in many sports both competitively and recreationally. In her free time, she enjoys continued involvement in recreational sports, travel and spending time outdoors.
Nichole attended Western and the D’Arcy Lane Institute during her post-secondary education and has been an RMT since 2005. She has been massaging in a medical/physiotherapy environment her entire career.
Nichole also has worked at a national and international level of sport, including the Ontario Summer Games, Canadian Winter Games and the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics. She also specializes in pre-natal massage.
Nichole has obtained her certificate in Medical Acupuncture from McMaster University and uses it to enhance her treatments.
Nichole has competed in Rowing, Rugby, CrossFit, as well as Olympic Lifting.
Mike Filipovic has been working as a certified pedorthist since 2016. He graduated from the University of Western Ontario with an Honours Specialization degree in Kinesiology and further continued his education with a diploma in Pedorthics.
His passion for rehabilitation, physical fitness, and optimizing human performance began through his love for playing sports. His most notable achievements include playing professional soccer overseas in Croatia, Bosnia, and Brazil before returning home to play at the varsity level with Western. He continues to play competitively today and has also been working as a strength coach since 2015.
Mike’s athletic background has heavily influenced his treatment philosophy. He strives to help people restore their foot function by enhancing their strength, mobility, and movement quality starting from the ground up.
Dan is a board-certified R.M.T. with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario. He is a graduate of the Massage Therapy program at Canadian College of Health Sciences and Technology (CCHST) in Windsor, Ontario, and he also holds a Bachelor of Health Sciences (BHSc) from Western University. Native of Vancouver, BC, he moved to Ontario in 2008 and has lived in Southwestern Ontario since. As a former long sprinter and hurdler, Dan has been able to transition from being an athlete to therapist by relating closely to the everyday challenges athletes face; educating individuals on the keys to recovery, hydration, self therapy, body awareness (proprioception) and most importantly home care. While in Windsor he worked closely with the University of Windsor Lancers Varsity athletes; namely the Track & Field/XC program.
Away from the clinic setting Dan is a student at the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy in Hamilton, Ontario. He has had great results with the patients using a combination of massage and manual therapy techniques (e.x. Trigger Point Release, Myofascial Release, Active Inhibition, etc.) along with other treatment modalities such as cupping and fascial work to help individuals recover from injury and return to competition form. He also offers Acupuncture (CMA) treatments–as taught by the Neurofunctional Acupuncture Program at McMaster University–to further enhance the recovery, performance, and maintenance of his patients.
Dan has great passion for his profession; working with active bodies and helping those around him live a healthy active live-style. Tailoring each treatment to the individual’s specific needs, his outgoing and caring personality provides those he treats with a safe and quick road to recovery.
Dr. J. Alex Coulson
Dr. J. Alex Coulson, is an experienced chiropractor that helps his patients manage pain, stay pain free and reach their maximal potential. He graduated from the University of Ottawa in Human Kinetics. He then continued his education at the New York Chiropractic College completing both his Doctor of Chiropractic and Master of Science in Anatomy and Physiology Instruction. Dr. Coulson is certified in Active Release Therapy (ART), Functional Integrated Acupuncture, RockTape and Applied Kinesiology, as well, he is working towards his International Sport Certificate. Dr. Coulson has gained experience treating a wide range of patients from US Veterans, elderly individuals, students, elite athletes and almost everyone in between.
Dr. Coulson loves sports and has always been very active from playing hockey and skiing in the winter to waterskiing in the summer. In his free time, he enjoys playing recreational sports, hanging out at the cottage or walking his goldendoodle, Ollie.
